My name is Vilde and I’ve been a summer intern at Vivaldi not just once but twice!
I started my second internship a couple of weeks ago, and I will work with the team throughout the summer. I did the same last summer.
In the meantime, I graduated with a BA degree in game programming from Kristiania University College in Oslo. Hooray!
One thing I learned last summer is that it’s very inspiring to work with people who have so much experience as my friends at Vivaldi. It taught me that it’s important to feel a passion for what you do.
Just like last summer, I am working with the QA team, testing new versions of the browser as well as – yes! – the mobile browser!
After the internship, I will be joining Capgemini as a .Net developer. I am super excited about that but, first, I look forward to learning a lot (and have some fun along the way) with the Vivaldi team.
Did I mention fun? During my weeks here at Vivaldi last summer, I learned how to unicycle. It’s much harder than it looks, but it’s a lot of fun. The office actually has one unicycle for employees to use!
You can now see why every day I am excited to go to work and why I look forward to the rest of my internship this summer.
